James Merritt died in motor vehicle accident on May 14
Farmington Junior High School James Merritt died in a car accident on the evening of May 14, while working position.
Merritt, 17, was on the journey to East County Road 42, if another driver expired on the stop sign at the bottom of a ramp to Highway 52 in Rosemount and click on his vehicle. Merritt was reported dead on the scene.

Vanessa Towner, a Spanish I and II, a professor at FHS, said James was an amazing students, was the kind of kids was the door and all the children gathered around him. Merritt was “always gentle and kind has always been really much to say. He was a happy-go-lucky kid,” said Towner.
Towner encourage his classmates in Spanish class, maps and a sign in the room-memorial sheet. The Spanish authorities also decided to Class I, its seat is empty in honor of his memory during the final weeks of school.
