Minn. High Court confirms the certification of class action
The Minnesota Supreme Court recently upheld a decision by the Court of Appeal in implementing the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act on a national basis due to the confirmation of a national class.
“While the decision of the Supreme Court is disappointing, it appears that the Court dodged the question of building on that point and decided him on the basis of procedural errors,” said Laura Kotelman regional directors and Senior Counsel for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI). “For this reason, the decision may ultimately be not as negative effects, because they had.”
